About us
The Cosy Riva Bella Hotel is located in a historic building dating back to 1876. Originally, the establishment was called Le Chalet. Built from Caen stone, the entire interior was made of wood. Large wooden arches also ran along the façade. The hotel retained the name ‘Le Chalet’ until 2014. For nearly 150 years, the establishment remained a hotel, even during the Second World War. The hotel operated under German occupation.
The only time the establishment ceased trading was during the First World War. It was used as a military hospital to treat soldiers. We took over the establishment in 2020. Since then, we have carried out several renovations. We have completely refurbished
the common areas. We then completely renovated nine rooms, which are the suites and all the superior rooms.
We are delighted to welcome you to our warm and cosy establishment.
